Job Description:
We are seeking a Boat Assembler to join our passionate and dedicated team at Sea Jay Boats Bundaberg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling boats to our exact standards and specifications. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a skilled team, contribute to fulfilling work, and be a part of a company that values quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling boats according to established specifications.
  • Plumbing & 12v wiring
  • Insulation of buoyancy foam
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment to specification of boat.
  • Installing accessories as per customer orders
  • General marine fitting tasks
  • Installing of steering systems and consoles
  • Carpeting floors
  • Cutting Timber Floors
  •  Fitting outboard engines and rigging with precision and care.
  • Installing and fitting trailers to the boats.
  • Fitting fuel tanks

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently and meet production targets.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  •  Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Previous experience working with hand an power tools
  • Wiring knowledge or working with 12V an advantage
  • Reliable with great attendance
  • Reliable transport
  • Trade qualification is not necessary.
  • All other training will be provided.
  • All Tools provided.
